Spencer Kiggins is a trial lawyer. He excels at representing clients in the courtroom and in motions practice. Mr. Kiggins has represented clients in a broad range of matters in federal and state court including securities fraud, antitrust, and complex commercial disputes. In addition, Mr. Kiggins handles white-collar criminal matters, and government and internal investigations.

Prior to joining Zobrist Law Group, Mr. Kiggins was an award-winning federal prosecutor. He spent nearly four years as an Assistant United States Attorney where he developed a reputation for handling complex trials and investigations involving a wide range of federal crimes, from money laundering to wire fraud, drug trafficking to hostage taking, among other crimes. Mr. Kiggins briefed several constitutional and statutory issues, including an appeal before the Fifth Circuit. The Special Agent in Charge of the El Paso Field Office of Homeland Security Investigations--among the busiest and most important field offices in the country--honored Mr. Kiggins as the 2021 Prosecutor of the Year for his efforts in investigating, prosecuting, and dismantling a cell of a transnational criminal organization involved in drug trafficking, human smuggling, and firearms trafficking.

Before becoming a federal prosecutor, Mr. Kiggins spent several years at prominent litigation boutiques in Washington, D.C. Mr. Kiggins earned his J.D. from William & Mary Law School where he was a member of the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal and was one of six law students to participate in the Law & Literature Program at the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail. Mr. Kiggins graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.A. in Political Science. Mr. Kiggins speaks Tagalog proficiently.

Noteworthy Representations

Represented National Credit Union Administration Board as liquidating agent of several credit unions in over 20 securities fraud lawsuits against Goldman Sachs, RBS, J.P. Morgan, Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, UBS, and Wells Fargo in federal court in S.D.N.Y., D. Kan., and C.D. Cal. The client recovered $5.1 billion, settling every case before trial.
